New German Restaurants!
Okay. It is all about the bier. But there is definitely gutes Essen along with that bier. If you’ve been following Maryland German’s Facebook page, you know about Das Bier Haus in Federal Hill and the Black Forest Taphouse in Fallston (in the building that housed Josef’s). Crossbar der Biergarten will be opening soon near the Cross Street Market in Federal Hill.
Baltimore was once home to many fine German Restaurants. We’ve mourned their passing one by one. It is really important that the Maryland German community support these new entries as well as those that remain with our patronage.
Click on the bottom sentence on our “willkommen” page for a list of area German restaurants with links to their websites. We will be adding Crossbar in the near future. In the meantime, please let us know if we’ve missed any.
